Welcome to Wakering Yacht Club
Welcome to our club, the club is owned and run by its members, with no commercial interest involved, by doing this we keep our costs to a minimum so that we can encourage sailing and boating to a range of people including young families. We all support the club by participating in work parties, using the bar and attending functions where possible to raise money for our club. We have two different types of members boating and social members, you do not have to have a boat to join us.

Important : All Members
Could all boating members please remember to keep their area of pontoon clear of obstacles
Could ALL members owning dogs please clean up after them if they foul in the yard and not
leave it to others to do, nappy sacks can be found in the foyer for this task.
Would all members please put their rubbish in the correct places, please do not put rubbish under barrels
or under other members boats, if in any doubt where to put something please speak to the Boson or a
committee member.
With reference FIRE HAZARDS
Please make sure all hazards are COMPLETELY extinguished before leaving the pontoons & Yacht Club.
Smoking in the Club House is against the law, and also standing at the door to smoke.

Could all members please remember to shut the gate on entering and leaving the boat yard,
if you are the last to leave please check clubhouse and gate are locked.
